Do stop by Wilkes Reservoir while you're in this part of Oregon. Wilkes Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range. That right there is a load of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. Wilkes Reservoir is right by the Snow Peak Mill City Trail, and Freres Log Ponds is a nearby lake that you could pop by. Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever want to return back home

| | again. If you came to camp John Neal Memorial County Park is a brilliant spot to do that, and why not have a look at nearby Bear Creek while you're here at Wilkes Reservoir. Wilkes Reservoir is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Taylor Park is a perfect local campground, and in case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Thomas Creek. area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. From Wilkes Reservoir you get a tremendous sight of McCully Mountain, and do take a hike on the Crabtree Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Silver Creek has a
wonderful whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Oregon Garden Resort is a magnificent place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of folks from Albany-Lebanon here at Wilkes Reservoir. At Wilkes Reservoir through
the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Wilkes Reservoir dipping down into the 30's during
winter nights. And if that's not sufficient, there's plenty more to do in the vicinity of Wilkes Reservoir. A great nearby hotel is Rodeway Inn Sublimity; a lake nearby is Lyons Log Pond.
