This lake is so wonderful. Wilkes Reservoir commonly gets a good deal of precipitation; December is when you get the most rain here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Having a good time in the Central Cascade Range is easy. Why not camp at John Neal Memorial County Park if you're here at Wilkes Reservoir, and there is a glorious hiking trail close by called the Snow Peak Mill       City Trail. Summertime highs at Wilkes Reservoir regularly tend to be in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and overnight lows at Wilkes Reservoir during the wintertime usually descend into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Taylor Park is a wonderful local campground; dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Sublimity. Near Wilkes Reservoir you find the Crabtree Lake Trail which is                  a delightful hiking trail, and you'll find a pretty lake called Freres Log Ponds. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the Central Cascade Range has to offer.
