Stay the night at Kampers West Kampground, and why not a little side trip to Alder Creek. Sunset Lake Resort and Park is a fine campground nearby; on a good day it's a great idea to spend the day at Sunset Beach. Now, you may think that's loads but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Wild Ace Lake. The cheerful people of Astoria like to hang out close by;       Fort Clatsop National Memorial is a good place close by. A pleasant close by hotel is Red Lion Inn Astoria, and lakes are such serene sites, why not have a look at Long Lake. And if that's not enough there's a heap more fun things to do in the Coast Ranges. Brallier Swamp is a swamp close to Wild Ace Lake, and Cemetery Lake is a tremendous lake close by. All through the long summer days, highs ordinarily are in the 60's at Wild Ace Lake, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Wild Ace Lake is right by the Cannon Beach Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges.
