There's so much to do here at Wil-Lyn Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Oregon Christian Convention       is a great spot for that, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Salem. The amount of precipitation that falls at Wil-Lyn Reservoir is close to the national average; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain; July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to check out some interesting stuff, check out McKinney Bottom, and Comfort Suites Linn County Fairground and Expo is a brilliant                  place to get some rest. If only every spot had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great world it would be. If you crave a little side journey, try Parrish Gap, and there are other places here than Wil-Lyn Reservoir, for example Helms Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Independence Prairie is a great site; if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Crabtree Creek. Helms Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out, and lakes are such serene spots, why not check out Fennell Lake. For the period of the long summer days at Wil-Lyn Reservoir temperatures are mostly in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
