Maxwell Sno-Park is a glorious local campground, and if you get bored of Widgeon Lake you could also stop by close by Marion Lake. The hard ski slopes at Hoodoo account for 30% of the ski slopes, and they are incredibly nice; beginners and little ones are in luck too, 70% of the 806 acres of skiing area are blanketed by blue and green ski slopes. There are 6 ski lifts at Hoodoo, a ski hill having a nice 1,035-foot drop from top to bottom and 30 ski slopes. Hoodoo
has an average of 29 feet of snow annually. If you came for an overnight stay Big Meadows Horse Camp is a good place to camp. A grade IV(V), 7-mile-in-distance whitewater part can be found on nearby Marion Creek, the Gooch Falls portion.
