Wampus Campground is a wonderful local campground. Not much rain falls here at Wickiup Reservoir; December is when you get the most snow here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
This lake is so wonderful.
If the weather is great here at Wickiup Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Edison Ice Cave and Lava Trail. There's so much to do here at Wickiup Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Round Swamp Campground is a
great place for that. For the period of the warm months at Wickiup Reservoir highs are frequently in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's while Wickiup Reservoir
overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's. This spot, the Central Cascade Range, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. A fine nearby hotel is Sunriver Resort.
