This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. Just can't get enough of Wickiup Reservoir. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Corral Swamp Trail; get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Deschutes River. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff truly is bountiful here in the Central Cascade Range. Wickiup Reservoir is a wonderful location to visit for more than one day, Round Swamp Campground       is a wonderful location to camp nearby, and the Edison Ice Cave and Lava Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Sunriver Resort. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are magnificent; South Twin Lake is a lake that's right next door to Wickiup Reservoir, and Wickiup Reservoir is right by the Lucky Lake Trail. One of the main features of the surroundings of Wickiup Reservoir is Wickiup Butte; if you need a spot to stay                  Best Western Newberry Station is a great choice. Not much rainfall falls here at Wickiup Reservoir; through December this area sees the most snow, and July is the month with the least moisture. Wickiup Dam is not far at all from Wickiup Reservoir, and you can stay the night at Wampus Campground. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Central Cascade Range. This is a tremendous area for people who like lakes. Stagnant Lake is a lake in the vicinity, and you can never get enough of the great skiing at Mt. Bachelor. All through the months of summer here at Wickiup Reservoir, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
