Wickiup Lake frequently gets a great deal of rainfall; December is the month that gets the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Wickiup Lake, too tremendous to be true. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Nehalem River, and the scenery at Wickiup Lake Dam is lovely. Wickiup Lake is located in the Coast Ranges. Yeah, come up here to the Coast Ranges       for a great time. After a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Columbia River is a brilliant location to spend a night or two, and Fort Clatsop National Memorial is a wonderful site nearby. There are plenty of folks from Astoria here at Wickiup Lake; if you get bored of Wickiup Lake you could also stop by nearby Middle Lake. During the summer months highs here at Wickiup Lake reach the 60's; the nighttime is fairly chillier of course, generally in the 50's. All                  through the winter the highs are regularly in the 40's, and nighttime lows all through the wintertime for Wickiup Lake tend to be in the 30's. There's so much to do here at Wickiup Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Trucke's Necanicum River RV Park is a great location for that, and Wickiup Mountain is a peak you can see from Wickiup Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Crest Motel is a magnificent location to get some rest; Grays River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. Be careful coming to the Coast Ranges, you might not ever want to return home again.
