Whitehorse Pond is a great site to visit for more than one day, Mazama Campground is a great site to camp nearby, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Dutton Creek Trail. Whitehorse Pond is located in the Southern Cascade Range. You need to pop by Whitehorse Bluff if you're here at Whitehorse Pond, and of course,       all our national parks are great sites to visit and Crater Lake National Park is no exception. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Whitehorse Pond has to offer, you can camp at Sevenmile Marsh Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Rogue River - North Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side spree to Dutton Creek. All the water falling down from the sky makes Whitehorse Pond a wet place;                  November is the wettest month with most rain, and July is when it's the driest. Now, you may feel that's loads but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Southern Cascade Range. Hiking along the Union Peak Trail is splendid fun, and you'll perhaps meet some folks from Klamath Falls here. Whitehorse Pond really is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise. Lakes are such serene places, why not visit Crater Lake in the neighborhood of Whitehorse Pond, and Llaos Hallway is a nice place to spend some time. This lake is so wonderful. Quillwort Pond is a brilliant lake next to Whitehorse Pond; you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Lightening Spring Trail. For the duration of the warm months highs here at Whitehorse Pond reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's.
