The beauty of Weston Pond attracts many people from all around. For the duration of the warm days of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Weston Pond, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Weston Pond. A beautiful lake like Stone Hill Reservoir next to Weston Pond is a great site to go to, and Weston Pond is a good site to visit for more than one day, South Fork

Do take a look at Pine Springs Reservoir close to Weston Pond, it's a lovely lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Weston Pond; North Fork Trail is a brilliant local trail. Dry warm beds await you at Walla Walla Super 8 Motel. There's splendid hiking along the Lick Creek Trail, and if you need a spot to stay Walla Walla East Main St. Travelodge is a nice choice. | |

This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Spout Springs is just what you need; you can stay the night at Elk Campground. The panorama of Reed and Hawley Mountain from Weston Pond is scenic; the Five Points Trail offers
hiking at its best. Weston Pond is a location that is pretty arid generally; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is July.

Spout Springs
 | 13 miles away 9 PHOTOS ...est continuous operating ski area in Oregon and is located on a major route through the Blue Mountains. It is very popular area for snowmobiles and year-around residences. Spout Springs opened in 1927 and was first known as the Blue Mountain Ski Club. Pete and Esther Eyraud were the first owners. Pete was the second President of Pacific Northwest Ski Instructors Association and was instrumental in bringing the first French ski instructors to the northwest ski areas. Its name is derived from the numerous natural springs that are found throughout the region. There are three springs on the resort's property. Spout Springs has 2 double chair lifts, a 21 KM cross country trail system, night skiing (the entire area is lighted), and one of the states few free tubing hills. In the late 60's, Spout Springs was the Nordic training center for the United States Olympic team and the Norwegian jump team. Spout Springs flies the Olympic Flag for this distinction.
