What a nice lake West Lake is. The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful. West Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest month is July. While you're here at West Lake it's a nice idea to visit Clatsop Plains, and Fort Clatsop National Memorial is a great local destination.
This lake is so wonderful. The friendly folks of Astoria like to hang out nearby; Best Western Ocean View Resort is a fine

| | place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Spend the day on the beach at Sunset Beach while you're here at West Lake. That right there is lots already, but it goes on; West Lake has it all. A golf course in close proximity to West Lake is Astoria Golf & Country Club; if you need a place to stay Gearhart by the Sea is a pleasant choice.

right next door to West Lake is a fine thing to do. There's so much to do here at West Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bud's Campground is a magnificent place for that. West Lake is great enough to spend more than a day
at, Circle Creek Campground is a great local campground; Cullaby Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. The warmest time of the year at West Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures
descend down into the 40's. For the period of the winter the highs are commonly in the 40's while the cold winter nights at West Lake are in the 30's.
Yeah, come up here to the Coast Ranges for a delightful time. The Cannon Beach Trail is a wonderful hiking trail near West Lake, and it's a fine idea to stop at Cullaby Creek.
