For the duration of the summer here at West Gopher Pond, high temperatures typically get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The cold       days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to West Gopher Pond. West Gopher Pond is commonly a rather dried out site; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Blue Mountains. If you're here at West Gopher Pond, you could have                  a look at Deep Creek; nearby you find the Section Line Trail which is a delightful hiking trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Mountains. There's so much to do here at West Gopher Pond that you need to camp here for a while, C and D Motel and Trailer Court is a magnificent spot for that; there are plenty of people from Pendleton-Hermiston here at West Gopher Pond. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Blue Mountains rules! Go for a hike on the Minetop Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You'll come across a charming lake called Matlock Waterhole near West Gopher Pond It's always great to explore Deadhorse Spring.
