    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Oregon you can check out Wellspring Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Wellspring Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Washington County Fair Grounds is a glorious spot for that, and swing by Baker Creek it's a brilliant spot to explore. Wellspring Reservoir really is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. After a long day outdoors Best Western Newberg Inn is a great spot to spend a night or  
   two. Wellspring Reservoir is a wet place that gets a good deal of rain; December is when you get the most rain here while July is mostly the driest month.
Meriwether National Golf Club is a tremendous golf course close by; as expected, this is a good vicinity for people who like lakes, Holly Reservoir is a lake nearby. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Wellspring Reservoir while night lows are generally in the 50's. Throughout the
 
               winter highs are regularly in the 40's, and night lows in the 30's for Wellspring Reservoir. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Wellspring Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Pine Ridge Park, and a nice close by hotel is Newberg Travelodge Suites.
This lake is so wonderful. People from Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton love to come to Wellspring Reservoir. Lakes are splendid; Stark Reservoir is a lake that's in the vicinity of Wellspring Reservoir.

Personally if you're going to a lake in the mountains you should be CAMPING. And there are plenty of sites to do so, both reserved and not.
