| | Cascade Range. For the duration of the months of summer at Welcome Lakes highs are usually in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 40's while Welcome Lakes overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 30's. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Welcome Lakes. The Elk Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and a great place to camp here at Welcome | |

Lakes is Skookum Lake Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Welcome Lakes you can make out Big Slide Mountain, and Collawash River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. A lake close by is West Lake, and in case
you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Collawash River. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff truly is plentiful here in the Central Cascade Range. Battle Creek is a delightful location to go to; why not
take a refreshing hike along the Mother Lode Trail. Welcome Lakes gets a good deal of water; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest.
