Wasco Lake is a wet spot that gets a large amount of rain; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest of the months is July. All through the months of summer, highs generally are in the 70's at Wasco Lake. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are usually in the 30's; nighttime       lows at Wasco Lake during the wintertime frequently descend into the 20's. But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. There's so much to do here at Wasco Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cold Springs Resort is a great spot for that; you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Summit Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range. Going for a hike along the Little Lake Trail will let you                  absorb the natural beauty of this area; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Hoodoo. Wasco Lake is located in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Koko Lake, and Minto Pass is a delightful place to pop by. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Wasco Lake. Wasco Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Black Butte Resort is a good local campground; Best Western Ponderosa Lodge is a great place to get some rest. In the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Metolius River, and naturally, this is a glorious region for folks who like lakes, Catlin Lake is a lake around here. This lake is so wonderful.
