Warner Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Eugene Premier RV Resort is a great local campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Calapooia River. If you need a spot to stay Village Inn is a brilliant choice, and do stop at Permaneer Log Pond, it's a lovely lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Diamond Hill RV Park is a good location to do that, and Schneider Log Pond is a nearby
lake that you could pop by. Lots of folks from Eugene-Springfield come to Warner Lake, and Holiday Inn EUGENE NORTH-SPRINGFIELD is a great location to get some rest.

Be mindful that the old pilings from the dam that was removed still exist and I believe present a hazard that must be scouted.  If you run it before June there is likely no problem at all.  Enjoy. The dam site is two miles upriver from Brownsville out Kirk Avenue and Northern Drive.  I would hate to see your watercraft buggered up.  It is a lovely river....

...chen facilities are available for pot lucks, small family reunions, and parties. Caravans don't have to pay a fee for kitchen use; other guests could be charged from $15 to $25, depending on the use. The clubhouse can hold about 30 people inside but there is an overflow patio outside the door. A putting green and horseshoes are outside the office. Laundry facilities and restrooms/showers are available. There are plenty of places to walk either in the Park or in the surrounding area.

In the spring the wildflowers are all abloom with beautiful pinks, blues, yellows, and lavender. The trees are starting to put on their new foliage and the birds are abundant. There is a resident Osprey in one of the trees outside the Park, but you can view it the RV area. They are noisy but fun to watch as the parents bring fish and snakes to their young for food. We also have a semi-resident, the Great Blue Heron; it passes through in the morning and evening and is awesome. There are hawks, eagles, red-winged blackbirds, starlings, blue jays, and an occasional kingfisher landing in the bushes or ...
