Not much precipitation falls here at Walton Lake; December is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is July. The Blue Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Walton Lake. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Walton Lake.       So many fun things to do in the Blue Mountains, not enough time. The cheerful folks of Prineville like to hang out nearby, and if you get bored of Walton Lake you could also pop by nearby King Reservoir. Getting to Ahalt Creek from Walton Lake is simple, and King Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Walton Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Carrol Campground is a magnificent local campground, and Big                  Spread Spring is a nice local attraction. There's so much to do here at Walton Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Canyon Creek Campground is a perfect location for that, and a lake nearby is Whitney Reservoir. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff to do are truly bountiful here at Walton Lake.
