    What a nice lake Walterville Reservoir is. There's whitewater on Fall Creek for all you thrill seekers; Village Inn is a tremendous site to get some rest. For the duration of the summer here at Walterville Reservoir, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs all through the winter are typically in the 40's; overnight lows in the 30's for Walterville Reservoir. That right there is heaps already, but it keeps  
   on going; Walterville Reservoir has it all. A good site to camp here at Walterville Reservoir is Dexter Shores Mobile Home and RV Park; a picturesque lake like Green Reservoir is a great place to stop by.
This lake is so wonderful. Walterville Reservoir is in the vicinity of Walterville Dam which is a pretty site positively worth stopping at, and do have a look at Dexter Reservoir, it's a wonderful lake. Yeah, come up here to the Central Cascade Range for a
 
               wonderful time. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend McKenzie River, and why not camp at Chalet Village while you're here at Walterville Reservoir. Walterville Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rainfall; December is when you get the most rain here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
This lake is so wonderful. The Eagles Rest Trail is a delightful hiking trail in close proximity to Walterville Reservoir; after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn SPRINGFIELD NORTHWEST is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. Easton Spring is an inspiring site to visit during your stay; folks from Eugene-Springfield love to come here. There is a great hiking trail near Walterville Reservoir called the Teeter Creek Loop, and why not have a look at close by Cougar Creek since you're here at Walterville Reservoir.
This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever want to go home again. Near Walterville Reservoir you find the Hardesty Trail which is a great hiking trail, and Cedar Flat is a good location to check out.

Be mindful that the old pilings from the dam that was removed still exist and I believe present a hazard that must be scouted.  If you run it before June there is likely no problem at all.  Enjoy. The dam site is two miles upriver from Brownsville out Kirk Avenue and Northern Drive.  I would hate to see your watercraft buggered up.  It is a lovely river....
