This lake is so wonderful. Ice Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and the Kettle Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. Wallowa Lake is a location that is reasonably dried up mostly; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily December, that's the one that snows the most, and July is when it's the driest. But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Wallowa Mountains.       Take a side tour to Standley Creek; if you need a site to stay Baker City Super 8 Motel is a magnificent choice. Having a nice time in the Wallowa Mountains is simple. Park At The River is a fine local campground, and Wallowa Lake is right by the Bowman Trail. Alpine Meadows Golf Course is a great golf course nearby; after a long day outdoors Best Western Rama Inn & Suites is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. Wallowa Lake really is in the middle                  of a striking outdoors paradise. Five Peaks Recreational Vehicle Park is a fine campground nearby; do visit Knights Pond, it's a scenic lake. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Wallowa Lake. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's while Wallowa Lake night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Wallowa Lake is a beautiful lake in the Wallowa Mountains.
