If you need a location to stay Super 8 Baker City is a pleasant choice, and the scenery at Wallowa Lake Dam is pretty. High temperatures at Wallowa Lake through the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; night lows through the wintertime for Wallowa Lake tend to be in the 10's. Wallowa Lake is pretty dried out mostly; the month with most       of the snow is December, and July on the other hand is the driest. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Kettle Creek Trail, and while you're here, you could also pop by beautiful Ice Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Rama Inn & Suites; Wallowa Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Five Peaks Recreational Vehicle Park is a wonderful local campground. If you want                  a wonderful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Wallowa Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Wallowa Lake; Copper Creek Trail is a splendid local trail, and if you came to camp Park At The River is a perfect place to do that. The Wallowa Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Alpine Meadows Golf Course, and do check out Knights Pond, it's a gorgeous lake. These mountains rock, just check out all the amusing stuff to do in the Wallowa Mountains.
