Take a hike on the Lone Pine Trail, and if you've had enough of Waller Reservoir Number Four, Reservoir Number Three is nearby. You're in all probability hooked on lakes, Waller Reservoir Number Two is one of those close by, and Gilmore Creek  
   is in the neighborhood of Waller Reservoir Number Four and is always a pleasure to take a look at.
Just can't get enough of the Blue Mountains. Not far from Waller Reservoir Number Four you get some great water scenery at Dam Number Three, and Elkhorn Tavern and RV Park is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. A great site in the vicinity of Waller Reservoir Number Four is Wagon Road Gulch; Lepage Park - John Day Fossil Beds National Monument
 
               is a nice campground nearby. All through the days of summer, highs usually are in the 90's at Waller Reservoir Number Four, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 40's; overnight lows during the wintertime for Waller Reservoir Number Four tend to be in the 20's.
The Blue Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Waller Reservoir Number Four gets very little rain; through November this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is July. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Blue Mountains. John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is one of the destinations right next door to Waller Reservoir Number Four that are delightful to go to, and Waller Reservoir Number Four is right by the Wall Creek Trail.
