High temperatures at Waller Reservoir 5 through the summertime are in the 80's while overnight lows are mostly in the 40's. There are magnificent places to discover along the Rock Spring Trail, and Minam Summit is a perfect spot to spend       some time. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Spout Springs is one of those things you just must do, and Waller Reservoir 5 is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Wallowa Valley Stay and wash is a pleasant local campground. Grande Ronde River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by, and going for a hike on the Cougar Ridge Trail is always a pleasant adventure. So much fun stuff near Waller Reservoir 5, just impressive. Here at Waller Reservoir                  5 you'll probably meet some folks from La Grande, and you can go for a hike on the Crooked Trail. Around Waller Reservoir 5 you don’t get a lot of rain; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow; July is the month with the least moisture. You can never get enough of the nice skiing at Bluewood, and a lake nearby is Waller Reservoir 4. This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Grande Ronde River, and Waller Reservoir 6 is a nearby lake that you could take a look at.
