This lake is so wonderful. A great location for whitewater paddling near Waller Reservoir 4 is Grande Ronde River; Minam Hill is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from Waller Reservoir 4. This lake is so wonderful. Very beautiful scenery and wonderful skiing is what you get at Spout Springs. | |

Having a fine time at Waller Reservoir 4 is uncomplicated. Near Waller Reservoir 4 you come
across the Rock Spring Trail which is a good hiking trail, and do visit Waller Reservoir 2, it's a picturesque lake. Waller Reservoir 4 is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Bear Canyon Campground is a tremendous place
to camp nearby, and Minam Summit is also a wonderful place to discover. Not much rain falls here at Waller Reservoir 4; most of the snow falls through December, and the driest of the months is July.

...gs is situated on the Tollgate Summit in the Blue Mountains. Spout Springs is the oldest continuous operating ski area in Oregon and is located on a major route through the Blue Mountains. It is very popular area for snowmobiles and year-around residences.
Spout Springs opened in 1927 and was first known as the Blue Mountain Ski Club. Pete and Esther Eyraud were the first owners. Pete was the second President of Pacific Northwest Ski Instructors Association and was instrumental in bringing the first French ski instructors to the northwest ski areas. Its name is derived from the numerous natural springs that are found throughout the region. There are three springs on the resort's property.
Spout Springs has 2 double chair lifts, a 21 KM cross country trail system, night skiing (the entire area is lighted), and one of the states few free tubing hills. In the late 60's, Spout Springs was the Nordic training center for the United States Olympic team and the Norwegian jump team. Spout Springs flies the Olympic Flag for this distinction.
