Do pop by Waller Reservoir 2 close to Waller Reservoir 3, it's a beautiful lake, and camping at Wallowa Valley Stay and wash is always a nice experience. This lake is so wonderful. Take a little spree to Squaw Creek if you're here at Waller Reservoir 3; do take a hike on the Cougar Ridge Trail. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Crooked Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Grande Ronde River offers some great whitewater. This lake is so

You clearly must go for Waller Reservoir 3. While you're here at Waller Reservoir 3 you can take a hike along the Rock Spring Trail, and the panorama of Minam Hill is gorgeous. Camping is available at Bear Canyon Campground, and soar down the rapids of Grande Ronde River in a kayak. | |

Spout Springs
 | 21 miles away 9 PHOTOS ...s very popular area for snowmobiles and year-around residences. Spout Springs opened in 1927 and was first known as the Blue Mountain Ski Club. Pete and Esther Eyraud were the first owners. Pete was the second President of Pacific Northwest Ski Instructors Association and was instrumental in bringing the first French ski instructors to the northwest ski areas. Its name is derived from the numerous natural springs that are found throughout the region. There are three springs on the resort's property. Spout Springs has 2 double chair lifts, a 21 KM cross country trail system, night skiing (the entire area is lighted), and one of the states few free tubing hills.
