If you came to camp Bear Canyon Campground is a great place to do that, and the friendly folks of La Grande like to hang out close by. Paddling on Grande Ronde River is so much fun. Lakes? Sure, Waller Reservoir 3 is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Minam Summit is close to Waller Reservoir 2 and is a great spot. There's so much to do here at Waller Reservoir 2 that you need to camp here for a while, Wallowa Valley Stay and wash is a good location for that.

| | This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Grande Ronde River. At Waller Reservoir 2 through the summer months highs are in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; overnight lows through the winter for Waller Reservoir 2 tend to be in the 20's. Head up to Spout Springs and strap some skis to your feet; the Rock Spring Trail offers hiking at its best. | |

Yep, outdoors enjoyable things to do are truly bountiful here at Waller Reservoir 2. At Waller Reservoir 2 you can see Minam Hill, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Waller Reservoir 2; Cougar Ridge Trail is a brilliant local
trail. It is very arid here at Waller Reservoir 2 mostly; the month with most of the snow is December, and the driest month of the year is July. Waller Reservoir Number One is a wonderful lake near Waller Reservoir 2, and Waller Reservoir 2 is right by the Crooked Trail.

 | 21 miles away 9 PHOTOS ...as the Blue Mountain Ski Club. Pete and Esther Eyraud were the first owners. Pete was the second President of Pacific Northwest Ski Instructors Association and was instrumental in bringing the first French ski instructors to the northwest ski areas. Its name is derived from the numerous natural springs that are found throughout the region. There are three springs on the resort's property. Spout Springs has 2 double chair lifts, a 21 KM cross country trail system, night skiing (the entire area is lighted), and one of the states few free tubing hills. In the late 60's, Spout Springs was the Nordic training center for the United States Olympic team and the Norwegian jump team. Spout Springs flies the Olympic Flag for this distinction.
