Tangen Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and after a long day outdoors The Allison Inn and       Spa is a splendid location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Walker Reservoir is a relatively wet place typically with a good deal of rain; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is July.
