    If you are in this part of Oregon make sure to pay a visit to Lake Waban. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing things the Southern Cascade Range has to offer. Klamath Falls Super 8 Motel is a fine spot to get some rest, and there is a splendid hiking trail nearby called the Greylock Mountain Trail. That right there is a heap already, but it carries on; Lake Waban has it all. The Varney Creek Trail is a pleasant hiking trail close to Lake Waban;  
   at Lake Waban you can observe Crater Mountain. Lake Waban usually gets lots of rainfall; during the month of December you get the most snow around here, and the driest of the months is July.
On a good day at Lake Waban you can take a hike along the Mountain Lakes Trail; needless to say, this is a tremendous region for people who like lakes, Weston Lake is a lake nearby. Having a tremendous time in the Southern Cascade Range is uncomplicated. Lake Waban
 
               is a beautiful lake in the Southern Cascade Range.
Throughout the summertime here at Lake Waban, high temperatures usually reach the 60's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Waban temperatures dip to the 10's. Camping at Rocky Point Resort is always a wonderful experience, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Klamath River. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are wonderful; Avalanche Lake is a lake that's next to Lake Waban, and Lake Waban is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, White Pine Campground is a tremendous local campground.

Was at the lake today 7-2-08...Would like to see information on the site that gives information on fishing. Have heard there is some real nice fish in the lake. didn't get a chance to fish. Also let the folks know there is a primitive boat ramp and good camp sites right on the water. Be prepared for lots of mosqitios. But it is beautiful !!!!!!!...
