Why not stop by Lake Waban if you're passing through these parts. That right there is a lot of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Southern Cascade Range has it all. Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Mountain Lakes Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn. On a good day at Lake Waban you can take a hike along the Greylock Mountain Trail, and why not camp at Saddle Campground while you're here at Lake Waban. That right there is

This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lake Waban you can take a hike along the Varney Creek Trail, and camping is available at White Pine Campground. dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Waban temperatures plunge to the 10's. Not far from Lake Waban, you'll locate Avalanche Lake which is a charming lake, and Klamath River is a great whitewater spot close by.
Lake Waban sees
pretty high levels of rain; through the month of December you get the most snow around here, and the driest month of the year is July. Lake Waban is located in the Southern Cascade Range.
