     If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Southern Cascade Range. Lake Waban is a quite wet place generally with much rainfall; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade Range.
Yeah, come here to Lake Waban for a wonderful time. Why not camp at White Pine Campground since you're here at Lake
 
   Waban, and on a gorgeous day you acquire a pleasant sight of Crater Mountain from Lake Waban. This lake is so wonderful. You're possibly interested in lakes, Avalanche Lake is one of those nearby, and Rocky Point Resort is a wonderful local campground. Nearby lakes? Sure, Weston Lake is next to Lake Waban, and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Greylock Mountain Trail.
Whitewater paddling is nice on Klamath River, and hiking along the Varney
 
               Creek Trail is great fun. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff truly is plentiful here in the Southern Cascade Range. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Klamath Falls is a pleasant choice, and Lake Waban is right by the Mountain Lakes Trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 60's to Lake Waban, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while Lake Waban overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's.

Was at the lake today 7-2-08...Would like to see information on the site that gives information on fishing. Have heard there is some real nice fish in the lake. didn't get a chance to fish. Also let the folks know there is a primitive boat ramp and good camp sites right on the water. Be prepared for lots of mosqitios. But it is beautiful !!!!!!!...
