Through the summertime months at Volstead Reservoir temperatures are commonly in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. Stay the night at Kirkland                  Campground, and you're in all probability keen on lakes, McCarty Reservoir is one of those close by. This lake is so wonderful.
