Clackamas River is a delightful whitewater spot in the vicinity of Veterans Reservoir, and while you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton. Since you're here at Veterans Reservoir why not stop at Happy Valley, and after a long day outdoors       Best Western Sunnyside Inn is a great place to spend a night or two. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Molalla River. There's so much to do here at Veterans Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Town and Country Mobile Estates is a splendid site for that. Take a little spree to Veterans Creek since you're here at Veterans Reservoir, and Veterans Reservoir is splendid enough to spend                  more than a day at, Southgate Mobilhome and RV Park is a splendid local campground. High temperatures at Veterans Reservoir all through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's, and night lows during the winter for Veterans Reservoir tend to be in the 30's. Veterans Dam has fine water scenery and it's near Veterans Reservoir, and a great close by hotel is Portland-Days Inn South. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Veterans Reservoir you can play some golf at Sah-Hah-Lee Golf Course Driving Range, and the panorama of Kelly Butte is pretty.
