     This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Sandy River; the slopes of Timberline Lodge are so inviting nobody can resist. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Veda Lake. Veda Lake commonly gets much rain; the month with most of the rain is December while July is regularly the driest month.
Veda Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range. Hiking along the Mirror Lake Trail is good
 
   fun; the sight of pretty Tom Dick and Harry Mountain is great. So many cool things to do in the Central Cascade Range, not enough time. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not take a look at Mirror Lake near Veda Lake, and Fir Tree Creek is near Veda Lake and is always a delight to take a look at.
There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl, and dry warm beds await you at Whispering
 
               Woods (Vri). After a long day outdoors Mount Hood Inn is a magnificent place to spend a night or two, and people from Hood River love to come here. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Veda Lake. Veda Lake is right by the Tom Dick Trail, and Wind Lake is a good lake nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Barlow Campground; a tremendous place for whitewater paddling is Zigzag River. Going for a hike along the Wind Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. There's so much to do here at Veda Lake that you need to camp here for a while, High Cascade Snowboard Camp is a pleasant place for that. The warmest time of the year at Veda Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and the night is a bit colder of course, frequently in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's, and overnight lows at Veda Lake during the wintertime ordinarily dip into the 30's.
