    Van Patten Lake is a lake worth visiting. A magnificent site for whitewater paddling close to Van Patten Lake is Grande Ronde River; if you're here, you could also take a look at charming Black Lake. For the period of the summer months, highs regularly are in the 80's at Van Patten Lake with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Van Patten Lake are in the 20's. All year is a good time in the Blue Mountains  
   if you like the outdoors. If you need a location to stay Lagrande Super 8 Motel is a glorious choice, and you can never get enough of the great skiing at Anthony Lakes.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Van Patten Lake that you need to camp here for a while, North Fork Anthony Campground is a perfect spot for that, and Dutch Flat Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. So much fun stuff to do here at Van Patten Lake,
 
               too magnificent to be true. Don't leave Van Patten Lake without first going for a hike along the Rock Creek Lake Trail, and Dutch Flat is a tremendous location here at Van Patten Lake. After a long day outdoors La Grande Travelodge is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two, and the peak of Bear Butte can be seen from Van Patten Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Boulevard Trail, and a short spree to Brown Bear Spring is always worthwhile. Van Patten Lake is one of the lakes here in the Blue Mountains. Van Patten Lake Dam is an interesting thing to check out, and Van Patten Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Rocky Ford Campground is a fine local campground.
Yeah, come here to Van Patten Lake for a fine time. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Blue Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Van Patten Lake; Beatty Creek Trail is a nice local trail, and during your tour here you'll meet some folks from La Grande for sure. Not much rainfall falls here at Van Patten Lake; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

We had a blast on this mountain on the Beach Day celebration, the staff was friendly as where the locals. They had the best barbeque, the lift lines where short, and the powder was great....
