So many amusing things to do at Van Patten Lake, so little time. A magnificent sight of beautiful Bear Butte is available from Van Patten Lake. Lakes? Sure, Black Lake is nearby. Be careful coming to the Blue Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again. Here at Van Patten Lake you'll probably meet some folks from La Grande, and Rodeway Inn La Grande is a fine site to get some rest. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Mountains.

| | Near Van Patten Lake you come across the Beatty Creek Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and Dutch Flat is right here at Van Patten Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp North Fork Anthony Campground is a magnificent place to do that, and at Van Patten Lake Dam in the neighborhood of Van Patten Lake there are some interesting things to see. and camping at Rocky Ford Campground is always a tremendous experience. Just can't get enough of Van Patten Lake. Paddling on Grande Ronde River is so much fun; the Boulevard Trail is a fine hiking trail close by. This lake is so
wonderful. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Brown Bear Spring, and there are other sites here than Van Patten Lake, for example Dutch Flat Lake. If the weather is glorious here at Van Patten Lake, you can go for
a hike along the Rock Creek Lake Trail; after a long day outdoors La Grande Travelodge is a perfect place to spend a night or two. It is very dehydrated here at Van Patten Lake frequently; the wettest month of the year is frequently
January, that's the one that snows the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Van Patten Lake. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Van Patten Lake are in the 20's.
