Valsetz Lake

The Elk Creek to Moonshine Park section is a tremendous 10.8-mile-from-beginning-to-end grade III-IV stretch of whitewater on Siletz River. The Elk Creek to Moonshine Park section of Siletz River is well suited for kayak paddlers who have been raft paddling for some time but who are not yet prepared for the genuinely hazardous rapids. For your protection you must always check current conditions before going raft paddling. This lake is so wonderful. Rooster
Rock is scenic and can be spotted from Valsetz Lake. This is a fine vicinity for people who like lakes. Mountain Springs Ranch Reservoir is a lake around here.
