If you came for an overnight stay Jackman Park Campground is a nice place to camp; Smith Flat is a glorious spot to check out. V Lake is located in the Stochs Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Some close by water includes Little Skull Creek. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Stochs Mountains. Why not camp at Blitzen Crossing Campground since you're here at V Lake, and don't leave V Lake without first       going for a hike along the The Beef Trail. V Lake gets very little rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is July. High temperatures at V Lake through the months of summer are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
