Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not pop by Skull Creek Reservoir in the vicinity of V Lake. V Lake is located in the Steens Mountains. Now, you may imagine that's a lot but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Steens Mountains. Visit Little Skull Creek if you're here at       V Lake, and good hiking is available along the The Beef Trail. At V Lake through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are generally in the 40's; nighttime lows during the wintertime for V Lake tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. There are other spots here than V Lake, for example Bingo Reservoir.
