    What a nice lake Upper Tumalo Reservoir is. All through the summer months highs here at Upper Tumalo Reservoir reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Upper Tumalo Reservoir descend into the 10's. Squaw Creek Irrigation District Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and you can stay the  
   night at K O A Kampgrounds. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Central Cascade Range. Bull Creek Dam is a location that is in close proximity to Upper Tumalo Reservoir, and golf can be played at River's Edge Golf Course.
Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things close to Upper Tumalo Reservoir. Do stop by Mirror Pond next to Upper Tumalo Reservoir, it's a gorgeous lake. There's so much to do here at Upper Tumalo Reservoir that you need
 
               to camp here for a while, Tumalo State Park is a splendid spot for that. Upper Tumalo Reservoir is located in the Central Cascade Range. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Central Cascade Range. After a long day outdoors Mount Bachelor Village Resort is a perfect place to spend a night or two, and get your heart pumping on the perfect whitewater of Deschutes River.
This lake is so wonderful. Bull Flat is a pleasant site to check out, and hiking along the Three Creek Lake Trail is brilliant fun. Some close by water includes Bull Spring Creek, and Upper Tumalo Reservoir is right by the Swampy Lakes Trail. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mt. Bachelor while you're here.
This lake is so wonderful. At Upper Tumalo Reservoir you always meet someone from Bend; a brilliant close by hotel is The Inn Of The Seventh Mountain. Around Upper Tumalo Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; December is when you get the most snow here, and the driest month is July.

Crooked River Ranch RV Park

We chose this location because of my interest in the Crooked River gorge, and because it was within 1-day driving distance of John Day Fossil Beds. The park itself is quite nice...although there were parties on both sides of us, we did not feel crowded. The adjacent golf course pool is open to RV campers. It's a long walk, but a convenient short drive. There's a viewing platform overlooking the gorge, which was a plus for me. Rates were quite reasonable for the type of facility....

...olcano erupted 15,000 years ago. Riders now enjoy 360-degree access to terrain off the Summit and Northwest chairlifts, a five year back catchline program that was just completed August 2008. Now you can pick a backside fall line that no other soul will take that day. An additional 980 acres off the Summit opens up expert rolling bowls and an additional 358 acres of wild tree riding is accessible west of the Northwest shoulder. All backside terrain is for the advanced rider.
In acknowledgement of the young advanced rider, Mt Bachelor sponsors a Freeriders and grommies (rippers under 13) with events and competitions almost every weekend. The resort hosts rail jams, superpipe competitions, boarder-cross and slalom races, slopestyle, freestyle and park competitions. Events include the Sun Cup (Feb 24-March 2), Special Olympic Winter Games (February 27-28), the Alpine Masters Championship (April 2-5), Riders for the Cure (April 4) and the closing of the season with the Pole Peddle Paddle (May 16) and North American Pond Skimming Championships (May 17).
