Beautiful Upper Reservoir has much to offer visitors. And if that's not sufficient, there's a heap more to do close to Upper Reservoir. Upper Reservoir is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Deerhorn Campground is a perfect local campground, and why not stop by Olive Lake Dam while you're here. That right there is loads of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Blue Mountains has it all. Near Upper Reservoir you discover the Lost Lake Trail which

| | is a glorious hiking trail; you can go for a hike on the Chinaman Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Spruce Log Trail is always a glorious adventure; Lost Meadow is a scenic place any time of year.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western John Day Inn is a perfect place to spend a night or two, and a good place for whitewater paddling is John Day River - North Fork. For the period of the summer at Upper Reservoir | |

highs are regularly in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 30's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Upper Reservoir dip into the 10's.
Be careful coming to the Blue Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again. The summit of Ben Harrison Peak can be seen from Upper Reservoir, and camping at Corrigal Spring Campground is always a brilliant experience.
Upper Reservoir is located in the Blue Mountains. Around Upper Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is usually November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is
July.
Put some time aside to spend at Chrome Spring since you're here at Upper Reservoir; some nearby water includes East Fork of North Fork Desolation Creek.
