Upper Lake is a beautiful lake in the Wallowa Mountains. At Upper Lake you can see Eagle Cap; let's not forget Knight Creek which is a stream that you may encounter while here. If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great earth it would be. Lake Basin is right here at Upper Lake, and do take a hike on the Main Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful       place to camp here at Upper Lake is Scenic Meadows RV Park, and hiking along the Copper Creek Trail is delightful fun. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Wallowa Mountains rules! A spree to Frazier Pass is always fun; you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Kettle Creek Trail. Upper Lake is usually a pretty arid place; during the month of December you get the most snow around here; the driest of the months is July. Now, you may think                  that's a lot but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Wallowa Mountains. The area where Upper Lake is, is dominated by the Wallowa Mountains, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Rama Inn & Suites. If you need a spot to stay Super 8 Baker City is a nice choice, and if you've had enough of Upper Lake, Sunshine Lake is nearby. The warmest time of the year at Upper Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's while Upper Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
