Upper Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range. And if that's not enough there's a heap more entertaining stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. If you came to camp Lemiti Campground is a perfect site to do that, and the slopes of Hoodoo are so inviting noone can resist. | | of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is when it's the driest. Through the summer months here at Upper Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Through the winter highs are frequently in the 40's, and overnight lows at Upper Lake all through the wintertime typically sink into the 30's. popular thing to do around Upper Lake; Cub Creek Trail is a pleasant local trail, and Cigar Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. This lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Collawash River, and why
not take a refreshing hike along the South Breitenbush Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The top of Double Peaks is easily seen from Upper Lake. If you get bored of Upper Lake, you could also stop at nearby Ring Lake, and after a
long day outdoors Lodge at Suttle Lake is a great location to spend a night or two. Just can't get enough of the Central Cascade Range. If you come at the right time of year, Marion Creek offers some great whitewater, and visit nearby Cornpatch Meadow.

 | Roundtrip Distance 13.7 miles Elevation Gain 2,348 ft. This peak is trailless, meaning a portion or all of the route up the mountain is via an unmarked trail. For this particular mountain, the typical route is known as a ''herd path'' which is not much more than a worn, but unmarked trail. Some of the herd paths are easy to follow, others are not.
