It's always fun to stop by Upper Berley Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Upper Berley Lake a wet place; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Ponderosa Lodge is a brilliant choice, and there's great hiking along the South Loop Trail. If you go for the outdoors, you'll fancy Upper Berley Lake. | | paddling spot nearby; a lake close by is Lower Berley Lake. Upper Berley Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Marion Creek, and camping is available at Suttle Lake Resort and Marina. Hoodoo are so inviting nobody can resist. While you're here at Upper Berley Lake it's a wonderful idea to check out Duffy Prairie; great hiking is available along the Maxwell Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an
overnight stay Black Butte Resort is a good place to camp, and dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Suttle Lake. From Upper Berley Lake you get a magnificent sight of Hogg Rock. Just can't get enough of the Central Cascade Range.
Hoodoo Creek is near Upper Berley Lake and is always a delight to go to; hiking is a popular thing to do around Upper Berley Lake; Lava Trail is a nice local trail. Throughout the warm months, highs regularly are in the 80's at Upper
Berley Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Upper Berley Lake plunge into the 20's.
