This lake is so wonderful. A great spot for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Umpqua Log Pond is Umpqua River - South, and Little Valley is a glorious place to spend some time. Umpqua Log Pond regularly gets a good deal of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly December, that's the one that rains the most; July is when it's the driest. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Coast Ranges. Umpqua Log Pond is not the only place close

| | by, Eugene Log Pond is a close by lake; dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express ROSEBURG. This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. If you're a golfer then a splendid nearby course is Stewart Park Golf Course, and camping at Western Star Mobile Estates is always a glorious experience. sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Umpqua Log Pond temperatures plunge to the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem
getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Umpqua River - North, and there are good locations to explore along the South Fork Trail. But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Coast Ranges. If you need a place
to stay Travelodge Roseburg is a nice choice, and if you've had enough of Umpqua Log Pond, Sun Studs Log Pond is close by. What would a site like Umpqua Log Pond be without out of the ordinary close by highlights like Shady Point,
and lots of folks from Roseburg come here. A quick spree to Marsters Creek near Umpqua Log Pond is a good idea, and camping is available at Broken Arrow - Umpqua National Forest.
