If you feel like a little side visit, try Bench Canyon, and not far from Two Color       Lake you'll stumble on Lookingglass Lake which is a lovely lake. For the period of the summer months, highs mostly are in the 80's at Two Color Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 30's; during the dark hours in the winter at Two Color Lake temperatures sink to the 20's. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Wallowa Mountains rules! There's pleasant hiking                  along the Main Creek Trail; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Baker City. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Copper Creek Falls, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Fake Creek Trail. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area in close proximity to Two Color Lake has to offer. Stay the night at Main Eagle Bridge Campground; there are other sites here than Two Color Lake, for example Culver Lake. Two Color Lake is mostly a relatively dry place; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most, and July on the other hand is the driest. The Wallowa Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. From Two Color Lake you obtain a great panorama of Hummingbird Mountain.
