What a spot this is for outdoors people. Looney Spring Campground is a great local campground; obviously, A trip to Sixteen Gulch is always fun. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western John Day Inn, and some close by water includes       Crawford Creek. So much enjoyable stuff in the Blue Mountains, just mind-boggling. You could also pop by Rock Pond if you're here at Twin Ponds; it's close by. Places like Camp Flat are nice to pop by, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Chinaman Trail. Corrigal Spring Campground is a delightful campground nearby, and going for a hike along the Davis Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Life's too short to                  enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Blue Mountains. Twin Ponds is not the only place close by, Bates Pond is a close by lake, and hiking along the Reynolds Creek Trail is magnificent fun. High temperatures at Twin Ponds during the summer are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 30's.
