    Go to Twin Lakes if you want to go to a nice lake. All through the summer here at Twin Lakes, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's; nighttime lows during the winter for Twin Lakes tend to be in the 30's. Big Twin Lakes Campground is a magnificent local campground; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Oakridge Inn. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the  
   Central Cascade Range. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Copeland Creek Trail, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Copland Creek.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. Steamboat Creek has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by, and there's good hiking along the Twin Lakes Trail. And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable things just keep reading. Twin Lakes
 
               is a great location to visit for more than one day, River View RV Park is a great location to camp nearby.
Twin Lakes typically gets a good deal of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is typically November, that's the one that rains the most; July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. A great sight of picturesque Raven Rock is available from Twin Lakes; hiking is a popular thing to do around Twin Lakes; BVD Trail is a perfect local trail.
