If you are in Marion county it's always a good idea to stop by Tumble Lake. So many enjoyable things to do in the Central Cascade Range, not sufficient time. Tumble Lake is a good site to camp, Detroit Lake State Park is a good site, and let's not forget Madill Creek which is a stream that you may come across while you're here. Dry warm beds await you at All Season's Motel, and there's great hiking along the French Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. One of

This place, the Central Cascade Range, has so much outdoors cool stuff. Get your pulse rate up on the splendid whitewater of Elkhorn Creek; not far from Tumble Lake you'll hit upon Cedar Lake which is a charming lake. Tumble Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at B and B Rentals, and the Volcano Trail offers hiking at its best. You simply
must adore Tumble Lake. Dog Tooth Rock is a nice location to stop at while in the neighborhood; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Santiam River - North.
All through the summer months
at Tumble Lake highs are ordinarily in the 70's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 40's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Tumble Lake. Good hiking is available along the Rocky Top Trail, and Knutson Saddle is beyond doubt a fine place to check out.
