Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The Central Cascade Range is unbeatable! A wonderful place for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Tum Lake is Deschutes River. Lakes? Sure, Three Creek Lake is in close proximity. This lake is so wonderful. Five Pine Lodge is a splendid location to get some rest, and why not camp at Upper Campground since you're here at Tum Lake. You just       can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing things the Central Cascade Range has to offer. Good hiking is available along the Broken Top Trail, and you can run the rapids of Squaw Creek. A tremendous location to stop at right next door to Tum Lake is Happy Valley. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Mt. Bachelor is great, and there are brilliant sites to look at along the Three Creek Lake Trail. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Tum                  Lake. You'll meet a lot of folks from Bend here, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Todd Lake. The high level of rain makes Tum Lake a relatively wet location; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and July meanwhile is the driest month. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Ponderosa Lodge is a nice choice, and you can go for a hike on the Swampy Lakes Trail. For the period of the summertime months highs here at Tum Lake get into the 70's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 40's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Tum Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range.
