The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Hoodoo, and don't leave Tule Lake without first going for a hike along the Bachelor Mountain Trail. That right there is lots of fun things already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. The top of Fisher Point is easily seen from Tule Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Straight Creek Cat Trail.       A large amount of rainfall falls at Tule Lake; December is when you get the most rain here, and July on the other hand is the driest. Tombstone Prairie Campground is a wonderful local campground, and there are great spots to look at along the Coffin Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Just can't get enough of Tule Lake. Get covered with water paddling on Marion Creek, and Tule Lake is a wonderful place to visit for more than one day, Country Star                  Recreational Vehicle Park is a wonderful place to camp nearby. If you need a location to stay Lodge at Suttle Lake is a great choice; not far from Tule Lake you'll stumble on Daly Lake which is a beautiful lake. High temperatures at Tule Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Tule Lake dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights. Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go home again.
