    It's always fun to stop by Trillium Lake. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! The Central Cascade Range is so good! The top of Eureka Peak is easily observed from Trillium Lake, and Red Top Meadow is a glorious location here at Trillium Lake. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Central Cascade Range has to offer. East Fork Salmon River is next to Trillium Lake and is always a diversion to check out. Having a good time  
   at Trillium Lake is trouble-free. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Trillium Lake; Hidden Lake Trail is a perfect local trail, and get covered with water paddling on White River.
A lake nearby is Collins Lake; paddling on Sandy River is so much fun. You don’t have to go far from Trillium Lake to see the water at Trillium Lake Dam, and Salmon River Campground is a good campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Mount Hood
 
               Inn, and hey, Gotta ski right? Mt. Hood Ski Bowl is a glorious place to do that.
Now, you may feel that's a load but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range. There's delightful hiking along the Tom Dick Trail, and the slopes of Timberline Lodge are so inviting nobody can resist. So many cool things near Trillium Lake, just astonishing. The trees of Mount Hood National Forest are a great source of shade on hot summer days, and Whispering Woods (Vri) is a wonderful location to get some rest. Trillium Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range.
This lake is so wonderful. Trillium Lake is not the only place nearby, Enid Lake is a nearby lake; if you came for an overnight stay High Cascade Snowboard Camp is a brilliant site to camp. The Mirror Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and you'll meet a lot of people from Hood River here. Through the summertime months highs here at Trillium Lake reach the 70's while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Trillium Lake are in the 30's.
Trillium Lake gets a large amount of water; through December this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is July.

Forest Trail 742, without gear. After you've scoped the area, come back and stay. Even on Labor Day Weekend ('06) there were several campsites available in this dispersed camp area....
