Triangle Lake is a spot with many visitors from Corvallis, and get your pulse rate up on the perfect whitewater of Alsea River - North Fork. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things in the Coast Ranges. This lake is so wonderful. Little Elk Mountain is picturesque and can be made out from Triangle Lake, and Triangle Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at,       Fern Ridge Shores is a tremendous local campground. Little Lake Spring is always fun to check out; do take a look at John Griffith Reservoir, it's a gorgeous lake. Triangle Lake is one of the lakes here in the Coast Ranges. You'll hit upon a charming lake called Little Lake near Triangle Lake; let's not forget Druggs Creek which is a stream that you may bump into while here. The high level of precipitation makes Triangle Lake a relatively wet place; the                  month with most of the rain is December while July is ordinarily the driest month. That right there is a heap of cool things already but it goes on, the Coast Ranges has it all. There's so much to do here at Triangle Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Richardson Park is a nice site for that; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Alsea River - South Fork. Through the long summer days at Triangle Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's.
