There are other sites here than Traverse Lake, for example Tombstone Lake; if you need a spot to stay Baker City Super 8 Motel is a great choice. hiking adventure along the West Eagle Trail, and Hells Canyon Packers is a good campground nearby.
Be careful coming to the Wallowa Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again. Yeah, come up here to the Wallowa Mountains
for a delightful time. Main Eagle Bridge Campground is a tremendous local campground, and do take a hike on the Trail Creek Trail. Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not take a look at Heart Lake next to Traverse Lake, and hiking along the Fake Creek Trail is tremendous fun.
