| | Hells Canyon Packers is a great place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Have a perfect hiking adventure along the Trail Creek Trail, and at Traverse Lake Dam in the neighborhood of Traverse Lake there are some interesting things to see. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. If the weather is great here at Traverse Lake, you can go for a hike along the West Eagle Trail; if you need a location to stay Baker City Super 8 Motel is a splendid choice. | |

This lake is one of the great places here in the Wallowa Mountains. All through the warm months at Traverse Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. During the wintertime
the highs are typically in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Traverse Lake all through the wintertime mostly sink into the 20's. Lakes are such serene locations, why not explore Tombstone Lake right next door to Traverse Lake, and why
not camp at Main Eagle Bridge Campground since you're here at Traverse Lake. Traverse Lake gets very little precipitation; during the month of May you get the most rain around here; July is when it's the driest.
