    A visit to Trammel Reservoir is always a good idea. Trammel Reservoir is a location that is rather dry usually; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Rogue-Umpqua Divide Trail, and you're sure to encounter some smiling people from Medford here. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Trammel Reservoir.

   wonderful. If you get bored of Trammel Reservoir, you could also have a look at close by Woolfolk Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Trammel Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Fish Lake Resort is a wonderful spot for that. That right there is loads of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Southern Cascade Range has it all. There are good places to discover along the Alco Trail, and Deer Lick Spring is a splendid local attraction. Be careful  
               coming to the Southern Cascade Range, you might not ever want to go home again. Why not take a look at nearby Bitterlick Creek while you're here at Trammel Reservoir, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rogue River - North Fork.
Trammel Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Southern Cascade Range. Woolfolk Reservoir Number Two is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and an afternoon playing golf at Stone Ridge Golf Course is always a diversion. If you need a location to stay Homewood Suites by Hilton Medford is a great choice, and Big Butte Creek is a magnificent whitewater spot nearby.
Head up to Mt. Ashland and strap some skis to your feet, and don't leave Trammel Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Buck Point Trail. During the warm months, highs regularly are in the 90's at Trammel Reservoir with nighttime lows in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Trammel Reservoir tend to be in the 30's. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Trammel Reservoir. Dry warm beds await you at La Quinta Inn Suites White City. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Trammel Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Medford Oaks Campark.

If you can ski Mt. Ashland, you can ski anywhere, is a boast locals in southern Oregon have made for 45 years. It is true; Mt. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
