     Not much precipitation falls here at Trammel Reservoir; through December this area sees the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. There's glorious hiking along the Alco Trail, and if you've had enough of Trammel Reservoir, Woolfolk Reservoir Number Two is close by. Through the days of summer at Trammel Reservoir highs are regularly in the 90's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. High temperatures through  
   the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Trammel Reservoir plunge into the 30's.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Rogue-Umpqua Divide Trail; Mt. Ashland is a very popular ski area nearby. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. You'll meet a lot of people from Medford here, and most likely you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Woolfolk Reservoir
 
               is just a very short distance away. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Southern Cascade Range. If you're here at Trammel Reservoir, you could have a look at Bitterlick Creek; you can run the rapids of Rogue River - North Fork.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is La Quinta Inn and Suites White City, and enjoy a round of golf at Stone Ridge Golf Course. All year is a wonderful time in the Southern Cascade Range if you have a thing about the outdoors. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Trammel Reservoir; Buck Point Trail is a good local trail; get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Big Butte Creek.
Man, is there heaps of exciting things to do close to Trammel Reservoir. Pear Tree Motel is a splendid place to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Trammel Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Medford Oaks Campark is a wonderful location for that. A trip to Deer Lick Spring will fill your soul with great feelings, and if you came to camp Fish Lake Resort is a great location to do that.

If you can ski Mt. Ashland, you can ski anywhere, is a boast locals in southern Oregon have made for 45 years. It is true; Mt. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
