There's so much to do here at Top Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Campground is a wonderful spot for that; there is a tremendous hiking trail nearby called the Horse Creek Trail. Do stop by Nash Lake in the neighborhood of Top Lake, it's a pretty lake, and the vista of stunning Burnt Top is splendid. This lake is so wonderful. Denude Lake is a nearby lake that you could | |

check out. Top Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; through the month of December you get the most rain around here; July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at East Lake Resort and RV Parks,

Winopee Lake
 | Went to Winopee lake this weekend...it was a little dissapointing because the lake is about 45% covered with reeds and lilly pads. The Eastern shore is the only one you can accesst the water without having to wade through reeds. There is quite a few algae blooms so swimming isn't an option. Overall, the view was nice but not spectacular. There are three decent campsites at the lake, popular with horse camps. The best of the three sites is the one on the Eastern bank, take the first trail you come accross before reaching the junction for sno-shoe lake. The second and third campsites are on the West bank and are a little harder to find...head for the clifs and you are there.... |
