    If you are in Jackson county it's always a good idea to stop by Todd Reservoir. Todd Reservoir gets very little rainfall; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is July. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff to do are truly plentiful here at Todd Reservoir. Courtyard by Marriott Medford Airport is a splendid location to get some rest, and if you came for an overnight stay Eagle Trailer Park is a magnificent spot to camp.
 
   If you need a place to stay La Quinta Inn Suites White City is a great choice; a lake nearby is Hammel Reservoir. You're sure to come across some cheerful folks from Medford here, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Tison Trail. So much entertaining stuff in the neighborhood of Todd Reservoir, simply mind-blowing. A glorious spot for whitewater paddling close to Todd Reservoir is Rogue River, and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along  
               the Chicago Trail.
And that's not all there is to do here in the Southern Cascade Range. Visit Langel Creek while you're here at Todd Reservoir, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Eagle Point Golf Course. This lake is located in the wonderful Southern Cascade Range. Throughout the days of summer, highs regularly are in the 90's at Todd Reservoir, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's; night lows in the 30's for Todd Reservoir.
So many enjoyable things in the Southern Cascade Range, just astonishing. Murderer Gulch is a magnificent spot to stop at close by, and camping is available at Fly Casters RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Alco Trail, and Mosser Mountain is painless to spot from Todd Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Todd Reservoir is not the only place nearby, Hamel Reservoir Number 2 is a nearby lake, and you can run the rapids of Big Butte Creek.

If you can ski Mt. Ashland, you can ski anywhere, is a boast locals in southern Oregon have made for 45 years. It is true; Mt. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
