Do stop by Toad Lake while you're in this part of Oregon. Toad Lake is one of the lakes here in the Southern Cascade Range. Toad Lake is a wet place that gets much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is November, and July is the month with the least moisture. Crater Lake National Park is a fine national park, and you can stay the night at Buckeye Lake Campground. That right there is a load of amusing things already but it goes on, the Southern Cascade

| | Range has it all. Don’t forget to pop by Grasshopper Meadow if you're here at Toad Lake, and don't leave Toad Lake without first paying a visit to Grasshopper Spring. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Jackson Creek Trail is always a fine adventure. There's so much to do here at Toad Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cliff Lake Campground is a wonderful site for that. want to return home again. There are magnificent sites to look at along the Fish Lake Trail, and there are some glorious whitewater spots on Rogue River - North Fork. All the outdoors fun stuff in the neighborhood of Toad Lake
will keep you coming back repeatedly. A good panorama of pretty Hershberger Mountain is available from Toad Lake; you can go for a hike on the Sandstone Trail. Summer at Toad Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. For the
period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 40's, and night lows through the wintertime for Toad Lake tend to be in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful.
Lakes are great; Triangle Lake is a lake that's close to Toad Lake; there's whitewater on Jackson Creek for all you adrenaline junkies.
