It's always fun to stop by Toad Lake. Having a great time in the Southern Cascade Range is painless. Hiking along the Sandstone Trail is nice fun, and dry warm beds await you at Union Creek Resort. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Prospect Historical Hotel is a pleasant choice. Toad Lake is one of the lakes here in the Southern Cascade Range.

| | Hershberger Mountain is easily seen from Toad Lake. The high level of rainfall makes Toad Lake a pretty wet place; throughout November this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is July. Don’t forget to explore Grasshopper Meadow since you're here at Toad Lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Toad Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cliff Lake Campground.

neighborhood of Toad Lake. A short spree to Grasshopper Spring is always worthwhile, and drift down the rapids of Jackson Creek in a kayak. Through the warm days of summer at Toad Lake highs are commonly in the 80's. Throughout the
dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's; overnight lows through the winter for Toad Lake tend to be in the 30's. Take a hike on the Fish Lake Trail, and
you'll find a pretty lake called Poole Lake.
But wait, there's more entertaining things to do in the Southern Cascade Range. Toad Lake is a perfect spot to camp, Buckeye Lake Campground is a perfect spot, and Toad Lake is right by the Jackson Creek Trail.
