The beauty of Tinhat Pond is reason enough to stop by. High temperatures at Tinhat Pond during the summertime months are in the 80's; the nighttime is rather chillier of course, ordinarily in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's while Tinhat Pond nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 30's. This lake is located in the wonderful Southern Cascade Range. | | South is a good whitewater spot close to Tinhat Pond. There's so much to do here at Tinhat Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Tiller Ranger District is a glorious site for that.
This lake is so wonderful. Heart Lake is a good lake close to Tinhat Pond; dry warm beds await you at North Umpqua Resort. And if that's not enough there's a heap more fun things to do in the Southern Cascade Range. Dogwood Motel is a glorious location to get some rest, | |

and there's great hiking along the Straight Creek Trail. Just can't get enough of Tinhat Pond. Good hiking is available along the Brownie Creek Trail, and Tinhat Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Tiller RV Park is a
good local campground.
This lake is so wonderful. From a rain point of view Tinhat Pond is a relatively normal location; November is the wettest month with most rain; July is the month with the least moisture. Go for a hike on
the White Rock Trail, and you can run the rapids of Umpqua River - South.
At Tinhat Pond you can observe Rondeau Butte; at Joseph Reed Dam right next door to Tinhat Pond there are some exciting things to see.
